Within our sacred space together we will engage in prayer, song, meditation and rituals to deepen our connection with our lives, our impermanence and the living waters that support every moment.
Together, we will bless and release the parts of us that are ready to die and return to compost.
Together, through the power of ritual, we will release our self-doubt, speak our truth clearly
and connect with a deeper trust of who we are and what we know.
Creating a Despacho is a ritual of reciprocity, which originates from Peru.
Mary Isis will be leading this ritual, as she was taught through her initiation into the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition and everyone will have the opportunity to contribute in this ritual, making their own offerings.
We will be immersed outside in nature, surrounded by horses, under the barn and weather permitting- by the fire!
The evening concert will be an opportunity to share your voice and also deeply receive the song transmissions from Mary Isis. You will also have the rare opportunity to imbibe in a heart opening elixir of the sacred plant Bobinsana!

Alja Lah will guide us into a meditative journey into the inner depth of our own spaciousness and the spaciousness of the core of the Earth and the depths of the oceans, where the whales are dreaming new earth into being. We will be invited to allow that spaciousness into ourselves as never before, which is that precondition of all true, true, true dreaming.
To open to that vibration within our hearts, minds, wombs, our sacral, our whole bodies is a necessary step towards knowing who we truly are and what no longer serves us, so that we can let go of the old identities and patterns.
If we want to be birthing a new self and creating realities of the new earth we need to surrender to the emptiness in between and become comfortable to float in the great unknown.

About this sacred plant: Bobinsana is a mystical plant originating in the lush landscapes of South America and finds its rhythm alongside rivers and gentle streams, resonating with the water element, which reveals the profound depth of this herb's healing properties. Its flowers look like pink fluffy clouds or thousands of red heart strings expanding into the universe.
It can have a transformative power to awaken and soothe the heart, filling one with compassion and patience, deepen one’s connection to nature and activate intuition.
It also has anti-inflammatory benefits that bring physical relief, dream-enhancing qualities that offer emotional healing, and nervine tonic properties that stabilize the mind and body.

1pm: Retreat participant arrival, get acquainted and settled
1:30-3pm- Opening of Ceremonial container, Guided meditation/visualization, serving of heart opening Elixir of Cacao and Bobinsana, Heart Sharing, Song Sharing & Embodiment practices
-Short break- (Tea and some snacks provided!)
3:15-5:30- vocal opening practices, Opening of Despacho Ceremony, each person having the opportunity to make offerings of gratitude, honoring parts of self that which we are ready to let "die", guided song-weaving. Some chants and songs woven through the process.
5:30pm- closing circle
Transition time into concert.
6-8:30pm Sacred Music Concert from Mary Isis.

And inhales from her spacious depths of autumn
We too are asked to align with her gentle breath
Invited to harvest the high energies
For a deep nourishment of the soul
As the trees let go of their leaves
We too need to let go of the old self
So that we can be present to what is
And surrender ourselves to never-ending becoming.

Mary Isis
She is a visionary song-weaver, ritual artist and sacred music producer who leads people in connecting deeply with the earth and the exploration and expression of the voice. She has lived most her life on the Big Island of Hawaii, and is now based in California. She has a formal educational in Biology and a soul alignment with songwriting and communing deeply with plants. For over twenty years she has been working ceremoniously with sacred plants for healing and awakening consciousness. Having been trained in the shamanic healing arts, she will be facilitating a despacho ceremony and guiding us in opening our voices for authentic expressions of truth and release.
During the evening concert Mary will be sharing her original songs and the stories about them. "Mary sings her soul songs from the heart and in the spirit of ceremony, with the prayer to awaken, uplift and empower those who listen. She weaves her lyrical expressions with humble praise for the universal human experience and the mystical and miraculous nature we are all a part of. Since her debut album, “Nectarian” (2013), which received much praise, she has released 9 more albums and continues to produce her own sacred visionary music from her home studio in Northern California.
